Do what you said you would do!
Simple. Right? Most of us have had some version of this preached to us all our lives. It applies heavily to business. HEAVILY! In fact, I don’t think there’s anything more important. Besides the fact that you may be under contractual terms, it’s just right. It is essential to healthy relationship building of any kind. Although we often hear, “It’s not personal. It’s business.”, don’t be fooled.
Rule 1: Do what you said you would do.
If you somehow cannot, communicate why not and what you plan to do about it. Why? Because even in business,
