How long did it take you to conceive your business dream? How many sleepless nights have you invested in making it a reality? Looking for your niche, your uniqueness?

How much have you spent on branding it?

This was only going to be a Facebook status until I started typing it and realized it should be a little more. I’ve helped brand ideas, businesses, musicians, and more. When I say “helped brand”, I mean it. I always view it as a partnership. The owner of the business or idea, has spent many months, years, and countless hours, conceiving this dream. I know because I’ve been there and still reside there. This is always a catch. On one hand, you know what you’re trying to achieve more than anyone. On the other, you have a perceived value placed on your business that nobody else has so far. This brings me to another point. With this perceived value placed on your “baby”, why not spend the proper time and money needed to brand it?

I could post numerous stats and articles based on the raw facts behind marketing, branding, and advertising but none will say it as plain as the pervious stanza.
